Purity. They only want true believing crazies, not people who have been cognizant of the GOP’s sedition, nor people who might consider negotiating for the benefit of the country. They are baying for blood.

Was NH really competitive?

Hassan was considered one of the weakest incumbents. Democrats indirectly funded Bolduc, a right winger in the primary, considering his R opponent, Chuck Morse much more electable. NH would have been competitive if it were Morse v Hassan. Bolduc's only chance, especially with withdrawal of funding, would be a giant red ts
tsunami that sweeps him through.

Can Republicans do anything besides whine and play the victim? Does dark money bother you?

The GOP blocked a bill to combat dark money: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/9/22/us-republicans-block-bill-seeking-to-end-dark-money-in-politics

Whereas Biden supported it and the Democrats voted for it: https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/3652129-biden-endorses-bill-to-disclose-super-pac-donors-dark-money-erodes-trust/

Meanwhile the GOP has had $1 billion dollars spent on their behalf. https://www.npr.org/2022/10/22/1129976565/dark-money-groups-midterm-elections-republicans-democrats-senate

If you’re going to try to make sly remarks about the Democrats indirectly funding people (the same ish you guys do only you do it much, much larger hello Nader, Stein, Kanye…), I’m going to call out your dumbery. You want cleaner politics? Make politics cleaner and vote for the only party addressing it.

Who's whining? Simply describing the game as it is played. This is just a campaign strategy, albeit one that is not without risks. And it looks like in some cases it will pay off.

All is fair in love and war.
