St Chris would lose to Spalding by 7+ goals and likely lose to St. Paul's by 3 - 4 goals. The only people on here who think St Chris is any good are likely EHS or Prep boosters trying to justify it was a "good win". Likely Prep boosters, as EHS has never been known to be much of a lacrosse school.

The MIAA, while a very deep conference filled with tons of parity this spring, appears to be down at the national level.

I based my St. Chris opinion based on my memory of its record prior to EHS. St. Chris has been an abject disaster in its last 2 games, and I badly overrated them. The truth came out, and I was wrong.

Far from an EHS booster because I think they suck too, albeit they suck less than St. Chris.

Combination of factors. Coach is in his second or third year and maybe he'll get 1-2 recruits thru admission per year, but who in their right mind would send their kid to either if you have other cheaper and better lacrosse options with relatively equal academics?? Also, if your DS was a solid player maybe not even a IL top 50 but wants to play at some level in college for a competitive program, while historically both SSSSA and EHS have gotten kids there as recently as last year, its a gamble that is just reckless. If you can afford $60 k per year, you're trying for Bullis, Prep, Gonzaaga or Landon over both SSSA and EHS. I just don't think either will ever be consider a competitive boys lacrosse programs again without a monster donor stepping in to make it happen. Sad.

Must be a GP parent covering their own butt. It’s a well known fact that GP parents have a total disdain for boarders. The problem is that in every sport it’s the boarders that make them competitive.
