What he’s saying is that it’s much better to be extremely wealthy and buy a medal than to sacrifice anything in service to others, which may earn you a medal in exchange for an irreplaceable loss. Trump owes everything he’s ever had to being the son of a very wealthy man.

Can we talk about this more? Any Trump supporters brave enough to explain or support this view? Why does Trump think so poorly of wounded, captured, or KIA soldiers?

Also he said this crazy shit to a Jewish audience that his campaign invited for an antisemitism message. So this whole thing is an intentional campaign pitch assuming that American Jews would agree with him that being honored for being a mega rich donor is better than being honored for extraordinary bravery and sacrifice on the battlefield.
