Not exactly sure why this is surprising. DA is the clear cut top level for boys. For girls there is a debate between DA vs ECNL. I'm not really sure why you would switch from one to the other at this point, but I guess there could be an argument...somewhere.

Because VDA’s TD is now the “head” of US Youth Soccer, which is closely affiliated with ECNL

Obvious conflict of interest with him. He should never be allowed to run a for profit biz in the same geographic area as his DA team. Quan completely undermines the DA program for selfish reasons.

He made the cut for the invite only the last time....but, now for whatever reason they had another ID session yesterday and decided to bring back all players that supposedly did not make the original cut. Yes! If a club wants you, they will make the offer immediately. A club is also interested in wrapping up their teams asap, but for the players they are on the fence on, they will wait and see.

Arlington Boys DA is sure taking it's time giving offers. They started ID sessions months ago.

And they have come back to parents about 4 weeks ago...
