To be abandoned in prison forever? Better to have someone that at least pay for her commissary, she won’t have anyone to do so if BB is arrested. But rest assured that as soon as she’s convicted and assuming he’s free, he’ll forget that she existed… But she probably believes in him. She’s in her 20’s and has literally no one else.
He probably also is making her believe he’s gonna get her out. I don’t see any scenario where she flips…
Eh, I think it's only a matter of time.
I think she was only arrested when she was because LE wanted her to stay in the US. LE has been clear from almost the start that they didn't believe this was a case of an intruder shot in self-defense/defense of another. With Juliana in jail they have time to put together the forensic and circumstantial case. And when they have that, then they lean on her with an offer of a plea to a lesser charge.
I think FCPD has backed itself into a corner. They pretty much came out and said "This is like Mark Winger, case closed, donut time". But they clearly haven't been able to make a clear case from all the forensics they uncovered over the last year (almost!). They (supposedly) never even went to JR's apartment to check for any evidence. So they've basically just focused on 1 theory (husband guilty) since the start, which seems lazy to me. If they actually had evidence, they should have arrested both of them immediately.
Like what was the reason to send in a SWAT team to arrest the AU at the Bus Stop when she was WITH the KID? I thought FCPD cared about the "only victim".
AU had been staying in town and working for almost 6 mo's and suddenly they remembered she's an immigrant with a expiring visa.
If AU and BB are such dangerous people that you need a SWAT team to arrest them, then what does that say about FCPD's incompetence letting them roam the streets freely for a year+? By all accounts AU and BB were trying to return to a "normal life" before FCPD came in guns blazing. AU's going to get screwed based on the technicalities of self-defense law, which we all know that 20-yr-old immigrant nannys are experts on.

I wish BB was innocent of the double murder so she grows up with a dad who didn't kill her mom. That seems like the best outcome for her but not the one most on this thread are wishing for.

But now every post of mine seems to be gone.
