The prohibition cited in the tweet says Smith can’t use a DC grand jury to keep investigating the indicted charges in Florida, but that isn’t what the DC grand jury is doing. The DC grand jury is investigating different crimes that were committed in DC. Being indicted for a few crimes in one place is not immunity for different crimes in a different place.

Apparently I will need to post this on every page. Grand Jury Rule 6(e)(3)(C) allows one Grand Jury to hear evidence from another.

What are you talking about? Woodward is a lawyer. And Smith is allowed to use multiple grand juries in multiple jurisdictions; there is nothing illegal about it.
