1) wait it out and hope the resale tickets drop, but I don’t think they will
2) don’t go see Taylor Swift
I completely understand being frustrated and disappointed about not getting tickets, but in reality, Taylor simply can't perform enough shows to guarantee everyone who wants to see her will get to see her. Even if Ticketmaster hadn't royally screwed up, there would be fans who weren't able to get them. The demand is overwhelming.
Is this unprecedented? She is so incredibly popular and I’m definitely a fan but I’m wondering why the demand for her concerts exceeds other wonderful artists.

Looking at the going rate on StubHub and their crazy fees, I will likely lose about $10-$30 per ticket. (Or I may end up donating them for the tax write off/good vibes. )
Several of the shows in the Midwest and also Pittsburgh will likely end up being cheaper on resale.
No one made me buy the tickets. But given how the sale went, there were a lot of people (me included) who felt like they needed to “grab what they could”.
I truly applaud anyone who opted out of this mess.

$2K per ticket is crazy, but in comparison to what the resale prices are looking like in New York and Philly, it actually might make sense to plan a St Louis or Denver trip if you HAVE to go to this thing.

We did not get tickets and this is going to be our option. No way I am buying tickets that were overpriced to begin with on the resale market, especially on a place like Stubhub where you might buy fake tickets. It's just too stressful. We are talking about a tickets at a stadium!!
It sucks, but this is America, now. I guess Gen X and elder millenials were the last generation to go to pop concerns and not have to cough up a mortgage payment to see their idols.

So I assumed only certain seats were released for each presale and that a certain amount was left for public sale. Are am I understand this correctly that TM released ALL tickets during presale? And now they’re completely sold out everywhere?
If so, what the F?
