Major Virginia Redistricting Case update:

The Virginia Supreme Court (#SCOVA) has DENIED the emergency request to stay the injunction of certification of last week's Gerrymandering referendum!

In the 'tea leaves' category, this is as positive a 'tea leaf' as one might imagine!

If #SCOVA thought they would let the referendum stand, then logically they would have lifted the injunction on counting & certifying the votes.

Caveat: this is still just tea leaves, but it's a good sign.

@Kalshi & @Polymarket are probably crashing on this at the moment

A good sign, indeed. It's clearly not the oversimplified slam-dunk some on here thought it was. Maybe, just maybe early voting for 45 days does count as "the election" after all.

And yeah, Polymarket had it moving forward with the new districts at 84% at 1PM. It's now at 54%.

There was a lower court that ruled today. That was not the case before VA Supremes.

It's confusing to follow this.

You don't know what you are talking about.

The VA Supremes have not yet ruled.

There was another court that did rule against the GOP but it was a lower court.

As I was told, you don't know what you are talking about. If I'm wrong about, so are you.

Is it possible to short a betting market?

Not sure where your misunderstanding of betting markets comes from, but you can just buy the side you think is going to win.

I don't have the capital. I want to borrow someone else's money to bet.

Banks will happily give you an unsecured loan.
