Yet so many parents push, control, micromanage, and burn out chasing someone else’s dream (or maybe their own?). Support them, yes. But let them enjoy their own journey.

No showcase for the 11s. Standby for more angry posts. Dropping more balls than a one armed goalie.
This is gonna be good.

So it is correct that the regional ECNL showcases are more important or equally important than the national event for recruiting exposure for kids of recruiting age? Let's not focus on the 2011s for this question, assume older girls. I am just trying to understand which events are important for exposure if a team doesn't qualify for any national events.
Best chance to get recruit is make a video highlight and contacting the college coaches and give them your schedule of tournaments/ games/ showcases whichever that maybe.

Love the smack talk on here but now I have a serious question. What legit exposure will FVU have next year if they don’t make the natl showcase? The regional showcases? Serious question asking for a friend.
Kansas City, Florida, North Carolina are the biggest recruiting events. You don’t qualify for them. You just sign up to go. Those are much bigger recruiting events than the playoffs.
Fairfax Virginia Union will play in all of the big showcases because they are in ECNL.
You all need to educate yourselves before you get on here and start giving your opinions on things you know nothing about
Please keep it up FVU Staffer and one of those parents will release what CW wrote.
You should try trusting professionals instead of searching for answers on an anonymous forum

We said nothing about the 09s and 10s and nothing about why you guys took our $$ and unilaterally decided not to give the 11s the same experience. Your opinion doesn’t line up with the opinions of other TDs and coaches in the area. Are they all wrong by your assessment? Or can parents get some much needed $$ back for this season?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:hi staffer. Are you saying that FVU2011Gs will be at these events? Because the app is saying otherwise. For recruiting purposes these showcases are not relevant for any of the younger ages anyway. As with every year the focus will be on the current and next recruiting age groups - so college coaches will be at the 2009s and 2010s sidelines.
. they did apparently and sent a letter which we are all foaming at the mouth to read. I wonder if it was in par with what the former 10s sent off for rebuttals from a professionalism concern. my text message did not disappoint. You guys are up early. Ill be hitting refresh while sipping my $8 tariff coffee. What did the 11s do to get overlooked?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Though t carpoolers were on VDA? Haha
