Wrong place for an unbiased opinion. Have you read the BS on here?
First, he's not as good as you think. Next, try to arrange for financial aid because then he'll be guaranteed to play because the school has a vested interest. Lastly, make sure the school, club and all the camps he plays for has a big internet social media presence. This will give him an advantage over the other players. If he's not a starter as a sophomore he's not going anywhere special in college. Stats are more important than team or coaching.
I can't tell if the post above is sarcastic. No school prioritizes FA students over full pay. In fact, if you are full pay family, your child is more likely to get in unless the school has a large endowment. I think all of these private schools in the area are feeling an economic pinch. I suspect that is why St.S St. A is so down right now. Bullis has fallen off on their big sports except Track? and Hoops. I think Track gets New Balance money and I don't know how hoops works in this area. Starting as a sophomore is great, but also not entirely accurate. U-Penn Freshman Defenseman never played at Prep, went to Landon as a junior and became All-State. Plenty of kids develop. That is likely why D-1 Lacrosse went back to Junior Sept. Commitment timeline because they were betting wrong so often, they wanted more time to see how kids developed. I don't think the apartment complex was as lucrative for Prep as expected and the Dorm is an attempt to rake in foreign student dollars. Is it working, I don't know, but if they are recruiting athletes nationally for their teams, the Dorm will be more expensive as those athletes will require more money to attend, unless they are coming from rich families in non-hotbed areas that want to play high end lacrosse. Maybe Prep is wealthier than I suspect.
Landon Staff is the best in the area based on talent and results. Equal to or less talent than local teams, and consistently high results. They get better as the season progresses more than other teams get better as the season progresses, IMO.
