Knowing Coach Eric, he would never abandon his players in the middle of a season. What people don’t see is that the new board and Technical Director cut every coach’s pay — yet somehow “found” money to hire two new positions. You cannot invest in players if you refuse to invest in the coaches who develop them.

He is our son’s coach, and he has also coached our friends’ older sons — we know who he is, how he coaches, and what he stands for. Along with many other parents, we will be demanding his return. If the club can’t find a way to bring him back, we will leave. If the club truly cared about its players, they would have ensured he stayed through the end of the season.

We love Coach Eric, and many more families have said he is one of the best coaches at the club.

It’s time for GFR to show that they genuinely have the best interests of families and players at heart.

Well it seems to happen everywhere. It's happening in College Football, professional sports and it's happening in youth leagues now too. No one cares about the kids, development, club strategy or values, etc...

Only thing people care about is $$$$$

this happened before. Maybe the club has to have 1 year commitment contract with the coaches. Many good coaches are leaving their teams at mid season and interrupt the development & confidence of kids/players.

He coached the first boys U12 team, the first boys U13 team, and the second boys U19 team.

What does that mean? He already agreed to his pay for the year per team when they hired him.

So what other kind of professional disagreement would it be?

WOW! Always liked him as a coach, he made connections with the kids and was a good teacher
