Hi Mr. Garza. Just a statement of fact (not the turnover machine comment, which is trashing him). You didn't like that the '24 was the key to the offense and you pulled your son from SJC. Free country and it's your choice. But the team won't miss a beat. What will be interesting to see is if SJC can keep it up after the loaded '22 class graduates.

Lastly, lacrosse is not like football where you need vast amounts of depth. The game is a lot less physical than it used to be. Case and point, look how small McDonogh's roster is year in and year out, and they are always in the think of things. Bullis has a relatively small roster given its a co-ed school and they have been winning banners for several years in the IAC.

Why did he leave SJC without being admitted to Spalding? I thought the complaint was that he didn’t get enough playing time at SJC? If that’s true, then how is that a loss for SJC? If he’s good, he’s good but him staying or going means nothing if he didn’t get playing time on that team.

He was a starter for 3 years and an Inside Lacrosse 4 Star prospect committed to Navy.

As much offensive talent as Prep had last year, they actually struggled to put up big numbers against anyone but St Albans and SSSA (where they were on pace to score about 50 until they pulled their starters). They had 7 or 8 guys who could score, but it’s not like they were scoring 15 a game. They were held to single digits several times throughout the season. They won with defense, goaltending, and possession.

2 of 3 starting defenders from last year’s team graduated. Expecting a Prep drop off in production, but an uptick in goals against may be the real killer.
