And the KKK prey on POC, tell me which race is predominantly part of that group again?
You people are despicable.
The KKK? Are you serious? It's 2021. This is a majority black city with majority black leadership and forever one-party rule -- for decades! If you are looking around to cast blame for POC problems, start there. But I guess that might require a bit of healthy self-criticism. Much more fun to make mock white ladies and their wine habit. Because "structural racism" or something.
You are more dumb than I thought if you think neo nazis are not active.
But keep your head up your bum, and ok I didn’t mention wine but apparently you’re already drunk. And you are to blame. All of you. Or should I blame teachers?
For the schools not being open? Yes, yes you should. Or is that the Neo nazis fault? Just so utterly shameless, the cynical way the white women of the WTU try to use POC as a shield.

But in general I used to think public teachers unions were polar opposites of public police unions. Now I think they are the same.
And I believe Fox watchers lap up falsehoods about teachers and unions, falsehoods designed to get those Fox viewers to vote to screw themselves by giving their tax dollars to the rich.
Turn off Fox. Learn the truth about teachers and public schools. (You know you watch it — or you’re part of the GOP elite in DC — please don’t deny.)
Sigh. No, I don't watch Fox. Look, you can keep telling yourself this if you want, or you can accept that left-leaning and political moderates across the country now think of police unions and teacher unions as the same thing. I suspect you prefer to delude yourself, though.
You're right that there are many "center-left" citizens who get their news from NYT Politics and/or WaPo, and/or NPR, and thus get news slanted through a conservative lens due to those outlets' bothsidesism and fear of conservative whining.
But in my experience, most of those woke up that they were being conned once the teachers' union says they wanted schools open in the fall.
It's mostly conservatives that are still bleating on about it.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Look, obviously unions are supposed represent the interests of their members. But it was still crass to see just how single-mindedly WTU fought any reasonable compromise to reopen. Tooth and nail, no matter how much families were suffering. That's just not a good look and it probably cost teachers quite a bit of goodwill for years to come.
This. Exactly this.
Anonymous wrote:Teachers: you would have a lot more credibility if you stopped acting like DL is difficult.
I’ve done both and we are all begging to be quarantined. DL is insanely easy and that’s why folks won’t give it up.
Start from a place of integrity and we can gain credibility.

Omg you need help. You either are a republican troll or you don’t understand how anything works.
Either way it’s just sad.
You’re right. They just drunkenly murder other teachers with their car. Angels of mercy are those WTU members.

Not sure if the goal of enriching DeVos and billionaires is racist, because I don’t think most people who hate teachers unions realize how they’re being exploited.
And police unions are the other side of the coin of the *military* — which cannot unionize. The sole providers of state sponsored violence should be subject to full oversight by society, not made immune vía unions. Other workers should be allowed to organize.
Private sector can organize to its hearts content. And I’m free to steer clear of those business.
But public sector like police and teachers should never be allowed to unionize. I can’t get away from paying them, needing their services all the while they can withhold service (shut down schools) protect the bad apples (cops and Davis) and they bargain with taxpayers money. It should be illegal
