well this is what happens in EVERY other setting. So why is school considered so different? Especially where there is good mask wearing, and studies show that the rates of transmission in school is lower? If the health department wants to run things- they need to be more responsive, not throwing up their hands, and assuming everyone is a close contact in school b'/c they are too overwhelmed, more than 19 months into the pandemic, to actually do contact tracing.
