ECNL is a closed league and will remain that way. The U.S. has no open league in any sport at any level. True pro/rel in a national level league will never happen in our lifetime so stop dreaming about it and stop thinking that your merry band of Goliath killers will ever get a piece of the larger pie.

Not sure why really, but they forfeited all the games. A few of the opponents were awarded 3-0 wins on their records and the rest weren't. How is that fair?
All the teams can be awarded 3-0 wins when a team forfeits. The club’s scorekeeper just needs to let CCL know to enter it. My guess is the clubs that didn’t get the points thought it’s automatic but it’s not. I’m a team manager on a CCL team and confirmed this for my own team.

Link? I’m Loudoun girls parent and have heard nothing of us switching leagues?

CCL is dead. And we can all live in a world where parents stop crying about road trips to VA Beach even though they never had to do so.
All of these teams should have just stayed in the NCSL. I don’t get it. Nobody cares about leagues except the leagues and the idiotic clubs and parents who are chasing the brand.
What are you talking about? CCL has been around for over a decade.
Uh, yeah, your point being?
+1 A lot of us have had kids in youth soccer for well over a decade, and we remember when CCL started and the ridiculous claims the self-serving CCL and club leadership made about elite the league would be and how their model was going to be vastly better than what NCSL offered. Some parents actually bought into it for a while, and I always felt embarrassed on their behalf. Good riddance.
Feeling embarrassed on someone else's behalf is usually indicative of some sort of psychological problem. Have you got checked out?
Oh dear. That was a truly cringe-worthy attempt at a burn. Now I am embarrassed on your behalf.
