No, the GOP has been actively reducing the number of polling stations, limiting the locations where one can obtain ID's, reducing the number of voting machines at polling places in minority precincts to force long lines for decades.

If the GOP was really interested in this, they would be facilitating more polling places, more safe voting machines and not passing these ridiculous bills.

US passport doesn't establish the right to vote in a local/state jurisdiction. It only allows passage to and from the US to other countries.

There is absolutely no proof, not one scintilla, that any undocumented people voted in any elections. The absurdity to think that people who are actively trying to stay under the radar and in the crevices of our society would openly show up to vote in an election is absurd on the face of it.

Please understand that we are dealing with l people that don't think rationally. Unfortunately, they also vote. And actually, they did quite well in the last election where there was no blue wave after all.
So, GOP accuses democrats of favoring voter fraud and having "illegals" vote.
I say call their bluff, and provide IDs to all citizen. In so doing, I am sure that those that have problems of missing documentation will have truly benefited. Now the will be able to take an airplane, open bank accounts, collect social security, avoid problems with estates, etc etc etc

We don't have insecure elections. It is a myth. The only insecurity in the 2020 election were a couple of GOP voters in PA, another GOP from Florida who voted in GA and some wacko lady in Nevada.

There is literally no widespread voter fraud and thus no problem to fix. The only reason these bills are happening is so the GOP can suppress votes and try to remain in power.
