You get that not all the elderly people who don't have a car or can't drive live in Silver Spring? Plenty of people upcounty who would really struggle just to get to the SS transit center. Nevermind the cost and the risks of putting vulnerable people together in a bus for so long.

The moco site is set up so you can take shuttle to the site, this was reported. In the MD preregistration, no matter which location you choose, they ask you if you need transportation, IDK what type of transportation they provide, but I suppose they have a plan in place if they are asking that question.

hy would you put groups of people together on a bus? So they can catch Covid from each other?
I went to the Furniture stadium site in Waldorf. Definitely a hike but very well run. You stay in your car - no walk in's. Took an hour including a wait time of 30 minutes after the shot because Ihave specific allergies they were concerned about. Could not have been easier.

?? Just saying there are winners and losers regardless of where you put it. Thankfully the mass vax sites are far from the only option for seniors.
The mass vax sites receive a large share of the doses so yes, they are the main option for many seniors. And yes, if you don't put a mass vax site in the most populous county you have a lot of losers in that county.
