The Jeff Cup results are telling. No GA teams in any of the U15 finals. ECNL covered each of the finals for top 4 divisions (w/ ECNL Mid-Atlantic teams winning 3 of the 4).
U16 Championship Group: 4 of top 5 results are ECNL.....congrats to Sporting Delaware GA for breaking the trend.
U17 Championship Group: Top 5 results are ECNL teams
You mean a showcase hosted by ECNL club in the city of ECNL's HQ didn't put GA clubs in the top brackets? Color me shocked!!

Some were in the top brackets, just got beat so didn't end up in the list provided above by the PP of top finisher. So if they were placed in a lower bracket they should have smoked everyone, right? Oh wait, they were and didn't. Keep drinking the kool aid though.
Top bracket or "top brackets"? Because in any other Jeff Cup weekend nobody considers the 3rd or 4th bracket a top bracket.
Fine - look at the second in 2004 age group. ECNL teams not looking so hot in that group. Some Of those teams should have been in the top bracket ot offer some stronger competition.

Why is there any expectation that teams in our area should dominate clubs in other areas?
How does your question apply to my statement
It doesn’t. Just looks like a different perspective questioning why everyone on this forum expects our clubs to dominate. What does this area have to justify this? Superior athletic gene pool? Nope. Hungry kids who need to succeed in soccer to get out of their disparate financial situation? Nope. Superior training and coaching? No again. Entitled parent who project their perceived superiority onto their kids? Bingo!
Nobody was. They’re simple responding to the disenfranchised coach who was talking negatively...and not factually.
Nice to see a shutout loss for the 05 TSJFCV team to end the weekend. Lousy showing for them from the start.
Not a good showing for any FCV teams.

Is anyone really surprised?
Maybe it’s because 5-7 girls from FCV seem to always be pulled to the NTC from each team, while surrounding teams might only get 1-2. Clearly not better, just politically inclined.

TrueType sad, been planned from day one.

Shhh Let them keep on thinking GA will get them ready for college. Don’t need the egos over at surrounding clubs.
