State and local can WAIT the 34 days until Biden is in office. Hungry people without food for their kids cannot last 3 days. Enough on the vaccine drama - the White House didn’t even ORDER enough to get a significant supply run going.

They’ll survive. DC is planning cuts to WMATA but that doesn’t start until June. We need Covid Relief for the people now. The states can wait until Biden passes something in February.

THE STATES CAN’T AFFORD TO DISTRIBUTE THE VACCINE.

The $908 Covid Relief bill has funds specifically for states to proceed with vaccine distribution. This is separate from the ‘local and state aid’.

Also I remember in September/October when Pelosi was holding up the bill because ‘the USPS is collapsing’ ahead of the election. Guess what? USPS survived too - still no funding.

And guess who isn't participating in the transport of the Covid vaccine?

That is Trump and DeJoy 100%

On Monday afternoon, members of the U.S. Senate held a press conference to announce that two stimulus packages with a total cost of $908 billion had been prepared for a vote on Friday, December 18, the deadline for a funding extension to avoid a federal government shutdown

Pathetic. So the bill passes people get to spend their holidays hustling paperwork to get relief. Jerks. Just pass it today.

The bill is live and online. If this goes through I owe Cassidy a donation next year.

The bill was announced today and picking up bipartisan support. Hopefully Pelosi schedules a vote on Wednesday and McConnell does the same for the Senate.
