ZERO percent chance that SJ picks up any transfers for boys lacrosse. Long standing decision by the St. John’s administration that boys lacrosse will not be like the sh!t show SJC football program.

The Landon coach and coaching staff is equal to or better than any other coach and staff in the area.

Since 2018 Landon has had the coaches, but not the athletes. In the last played season, a year of total rebuild, they lost to Bullis by a goal and then in Overtime and Prep once in overtime.

This year they have players and coaching and the cupboard is getting filled. This staff will coach this season, and then we will see which direction they go.

St. Stephens is always very well coached - fewer athletes and they always play really hard.

St. Alban's has gotten better, but is still wildly outgunned in the athlete Dept.

Episcopal could be a sleeping giant if they really decide they want to compete - Bring on the Canadians.

2018 Bullis team was very talented, but they were also really well coached and disciplined. They are doing really good things over there, particularly after the turmoil with him maybe being fired or whatever that was. It will be interesting to see if the talent pipeline dries up.

Coach U inherited a team in transition that had a lot of turnover, I think he'll settle in now that he's been at the helm for several years - and Prep seems to be getting the Mater Dei pipeline shifted back from Eye St.

I agree that the underwhelming Landon squad had to be really well coached to compete with either Bullis or Prep that season; that Landon team looked brutal early season but kept getting better. It's still baffling to me that there HC/alum is leaving.

SSSA has maintained the disciplined approach they've been known for even with their coaching change a few years ago. Wonder if the one poster who said their admin doesn't support the program is in the know or just disgruntled.

EHS has some great talent but hasn't been able to get over the hump and get some big wins. If the school really wants to be good, recruiting and boarding are powerful tools.

StA needs to prove a lot before anyone thinks they'll be a regular presence in the league.

Hopefully we get a season this spring, even if abridged or modified, there are some great 21s in the IAC that I would like to see play. Fingers crossed.

I am going to say this is a troll post.

Its very very rare for a Georgetown Prep applicant to even consider Bullis. Most Georgetown Prep applicants are strongly considering its Jesuit counterpart, Gonzaga and some will also look at SJC. Georgetown Prep and Bullis have very little in common other than they play in the same league.

I would speculate Bullis and Landon have more cross applicants.
