Op - it may be an opportunity for some people to just have alone not busy time.
I don’t mind doing pumpkin patches alone or not trick or treating. Things I normally would’ve made group activities with my friends but I’m realizing just how introverted I may really be.
Don’t worry, it’s still fun. You can pick a farm not near where you live (for us, Baltimore County, etc...) and make a small day trip of it.

The condescending attitude towards those who are taking proper precautions in a pandemic that has killed more than 200,000 of our fellow Americans. WTF is hard to get about that?

NP. Based on the "lol" response, it is very challenging for some people to understand that sacrificing for others is something that many of use do when necessary for the benefit of society as a whole.
OP, I have seen exactly one close friend, exactly once, since March. I have also seen one colleague for 1 hour of distant "meeting" and another colleague/acquaintance randomly at a park while we kept our masked children apart. That's IT.

OP I understand. I have - or should I say had - a lot of mom friends in my neighborhood. When shelter in place/quarantine started they all got to buckle down with their husbands. My own husband is essential and hasn’t missed a single day of work since this all started. The world never stopped for us and we had to go on with our lives. I still don’t really see or hear from these women anymore and apparently I misjudged some of these “friendships”. It sucks. What can you do.
