Nope. It’s nowhere to be found. NPR, NYT and WaPo are just as bad on the other side of the spectrum. It’s all become a joke.

And the people are suffering because of it. No reliable news source that gives honest, unbiased reporting on either side.

Yeah, no they're not. They're just not. Don't be a nihilist or a both-sides-er.

Get out of your box. NPR, NYT, MSNBC, CNN and WaPo are all just as biased as Fox News, OAN, and NewsMax. You just like what they say so, in your mind, they are not biased. Journalism is dead, sorry.

Biased and Lying are not equivalent.

You mean, the "guidelines" that say that schools should be open unless the the circumstances are such that schools should not be open?

Evanston also announced all DL to start.

Lexington KY distance learning. The surrounding counties will likely follow suit.

I don’t think people are claiming the virus is a ‘hoax’. Maybe some. But most of us are pretty tired of the media’s overdone, over-hyped fear-mongering presentation of the virus.

People have nowhere to go to get clear, unbiased facts. Every news story has a political angle (on both sides) and it’s impossible to know what is really going on.

This is frankly the biggest issue imo. Something that we should all be talking about and probably have it's own separate thread. This is the reason no one know what to do and people are so divided.

This is THE MAIN issue. Absolutely and positively. And I have family all over the world, many of them who feel the same about their own media.

What has happened to integrity in journalism?
Even so-called ‘we’ll-respected’ media outlets have established that they cannot be trusted to be unbiased. Combine that with social media nonsense posts and people are overwhelmed by hype and misinformation.

It's still there, aside from Fox, Sinclair, and the hedge funds that are buying and closing newspapers.

Sure, you and your journalistic sources are totally reliable

Have a governor who's a woman.

Sorry, but it's true.
- Michigan resident

Nope. Just like you can’t blame Trump for Covid, you can’t give Janet Mills credit for Maine’s situation.

Maine is 35K square miles and has a population of 1.3 million. Maine has a population density of 41 people per square mile.

Maryland has a population density of 594 people per square mile. And Maryland is way more diverse.

Population density makes a huge difference in the spread of Covid.

Like in Arizona, for example, which has a population density of 45 people per square mile.

No, wait...

China is 400 per square mile. How is it not surging all over their entire country. Hmmmmm

We have no idea what is going on in China. No clue.

They did open schools in some areas, but then had to close them back down soon after.

They opened all of their schools and closed a few temporarily. But.. if you are going to get picky, how about Germany? 623 per square mile. I mean, I can go all day here

NP here.... crickets. Lol

But but but......

Yes, indeed. Facts are stubborn things.

What facts?

Tell us exactly what Germany did that Maryland did not do.

Crickets.... lol

Because every single country in the world is in the same sh$tty situation thanks to Covid.

No they are not. Every single country but a few have a handle on it.

And Maryland doesn’t have closed boarders and it also opened up indoor bars/restaurants. What county is rising the fastest right now?
