How can the black community fix the wealth gap/economic inequality on its own?
Maybe they can ask Asians how they did it. Maybe a cross-race mentorship program or something.

In 1968, a typical middle-class black household had $6,674 in wealth compared with $70,786 for the typical middle-class white household, according to data from the historical Survey of Consumer Finances that has been adjusted for inflation. In 2016, the typical middle-class black household had $13,024 in wealth versus $149,703 for the median white household, an even larger gap in percentage terms.
There's a reason that Bush wanted every family, every black family, to buy a house, to be homeowners. Too bad it didn't work out well.

White America had a 400 year head start. With such profound advantages, Some white individuals became CEOs while others languished in poverty.
An undeniable tenet, it takes money to make money. Lack of opportunities and capital, largely, explains the huge socioeconomic gap between Whites and Blacks. How many black sons would not have to turn to gangs and drugs if parents were middle class and better outlets were available to them?
And you wonder why people don't take reparations seriously...
Above pp has a very good point and is right. You need to ask yourself why you are racist? Usually it has to do with being unhappy with who you are and hate towards yourself that you project to others who do not look just like you.
No she doesn't. Sorry.
Then how do you explain the economic gap between white people and black people in the US?

Take it up with Parliment and the Vatican, otherwise you are barking up the wrong tree
Really? My grandfather used to tell us about the time when he would go looking for work in the city and businesses had signs sayng, "Help wanted. Irish need not apply." So again, where are reparations for Irish Americans?
For refusing to give you grandfather a job? How old are you? Welcome to reality of unemployment. Was your ancestor held in chains when he went looking for a job? Was he refused a seat on a train? Even if you are 60, your grandfather was likely born in early 1900, so truly by then Slav, Italian immigration replaced the Irish as victims of the slums and no jobs. As for the English treating Irish like subhuman, yep true. That is who Americans got it from.
