Crash Landing mentioned with BTS and Parasite

I share the Crash Landing love but have to say I've tried at least 10 kdramas since and have found nothing I'd even as much as recommend. So that's disappointing.

I just finished Prison Playbook, and it was so, so good.

So basically with a couple Japanese albums and Jungkook’s famous video Golden Closet Film Tokyo, BTS has had as much impact on Korean-Japanese relations as 50 years of politely talks. That’s a lot of international pressure on 7 boys just trying to win a Grammy.

Absolutely! I even starting watching TED talks on NK/SK relations.

I haven’t seen a love story this beautiful since The Notebook.

It was like a soap opera I couldn’t stop watching. Having did that, a second scene would have been a nice ending 😬

it's better the 2nd time

I have to agree with it being even better the second time. You pick up on so many little things you didn't notice first time around, especially about the endearing supporting characters. Plus, you watch it again but with emotional investment that you built over the course of the whole series the first time, which it is completely worthy of.

+100. There was so much more I noticed the second time. Agree with pp - given the actors relationship (at not an immature stage of life), probably also led to the success.

Sigh. There will never be a show like Crash Landing again. The story is unique and the actors are just beautiful and in love in real life.

Thank you all for this awesome thread! I binged CLOY at your recommendation, and then I told my mom about it. She has literally watched CLOY five times now. We’re both watching Chocolate now and are enjoying it. Excited to try some of the other recommendations.
