Not many other clubs have threads on the refund topic. There are many clubs who gave refunds and therefore there is no thread about them.
Loudoun, being the largest club in VA should lead on this and not do “what is in line with other clubs”.
Disgraceful
Accurate analysis. I tried to empathize with their situation as a business and fixed costs - how wouldn't I? as a business owner I am suffering these forced house-arrest consequences in my own flesh. But, when I found out that they were spending over $600,000 in just 5 individuals (some of whom by the way are incompetent and unprofessional to say the least) I lost all respect for them. To add insult to injury not one of their staff has taken a pay cut AND they have received money from that PPP loan program.
Honestly, parents who will continue with Loudoun Soccer in the Fall and beyond (if there is any soccer anyways) can you please share the exact reasons? Besides the fact that you obviously have $$ to throw around.
they 2 big 2 fail fortunately so go cry elsewhere with your lame and poor stand.
A pretty privileged take on your part.

Wonder how much of that money gets lost in upcoming seasons as people who were screwed look for alternatives. Hope it was worth it.
They make hundreds of thousands if not a million every year from the Rec program. The 300 upset families is only a small dent to the huge empire but it’s a start. Someone out there, please build a nice small and honest family friendly Club In Loudoun County and people will follow.

Do you work for LS? Why do you care that people don’t want to make a mandatory donation because they paid for a service that was never received?
Exactly. I can purchase 30 lattes with my $150. The petty person here is Loudoun Soccer. They are a big for profit company disguised as a non profit organization. Not only that, their ego is so big with their too big to fail campaign by refusing refunds. Families look after themselves first. Loudoun will survive. Their bank account is big enough and could take the hit. The squeaky clean image is over. Just make it right - it’s not worth the bad rep !
Stop whining like a little bitch. How you know they will survive? The whole world is a stand still, businesses struggling to make ends meet. So what if you don’t get the 150.00, you going to die? You are going to be financially doomed? I get it you don’t understand business, its normal
Np here.
Stop whining like an ass yourself. The whole world is at a stand still and people have lost jobs and a struggling to make ends meet. So what if LS has to refund my $150, are they going to die? Are they going to be financially doomed? They shouldn't be, should they? No one will die if they refund my money, right?
Ok, lets put this in a way that you can understand.
You: Hey Alexa, order a case of lemon scent lysol wipes and 2 12 packs of Charmin Ultra toilet paper.
Alexa: $80 dollars will be charged to your account and the items will be shipped within 2 days a s Prime member.
Three days later you get an email and it reads.
Your items are out of stock. We do not know when we can fill your order. Sorry for the inconvenience but there will be no refunds at this time.
This response is idiotic and illogical.
Yes, it is idiotic when that is exactly what happened to hundreds of Loudoun Soccer customers.
So it happened, if you really want to do something about it then move onto a new club. Plenty of options, we have already decided to leave Loudoun from now on.
