Every now and then I dip into these threads. It funny with folks losing their minds and talking smack etc. even more so in these times. Folks. This is a business decision. I know some knucklehead (or several) will dismiss this post etc. I don’t care. But, I can tell you from my contacts in the administration side of DA and ECNL- this is all but done. It won’t matter. The best players will rise to the top. Clubs will lose and win in this change. Your issue is you think this region only. Breathe.....change is coming.

Arlington ecnl would hurt McLean. TSTJFCV ECNL would hurt Loudoun. Neither of those clubs will be in ECNL. FCV is screwed.

A few of the best players I know have former pro, USNT parents that did not place them in DA or ECNL or even with the ones people in this Board love to chest pound about. Check back when they are 17.

Yep. The player will speak for himself/herself by 17/18. All the years before of elite peewee soccer don’t mean sh@t. 99% of those kids don’t pan out.

It excites the parents of strong players more. There are too many so called "elite" leagues. One is more then enough and I don't think too many parents care which one is it. They just want one
