You are quadrupling your exposure to the virus with hanging out with just one other couple. It’s not smart, PP, nor is letting your child bike with another child.

My next door neighbor has a steam of teen/20ish guys walking in and out. Their son is a student at Montgomery College. And the parents have underlying health conditions. I just want to clobber that kid over the head. He’s so self centered.

It's weird that pp contacted the other adult's mother...but if my adult kid wasn't following the house rules (to practice social distancing) they'd be out. Enjoy being homeless during a pandemic, kid!

I think people are already tiring of the isolation. If you have isolated for close to two weeks and no one around you has gotten sick it is easy to start being a little more lax.

Yesterday I took the kids to a soccer field to run around and there were 6 late teen age boys playing a basketball game. There was also a group of similarly aged girls sitting in a car in the parking lot - they would occasionally get out and sit on the curb then get back in the car.

I also saw a group of six adult neighbors who had all been out walking their dogs and they met on a street corner and were all standing in very close proximity chatting.

People are tired of being inside and some more desperate for interaction than others. I think since they haven't gotten sick and a couple weeks have passed, people feel like they can relax

I am so glad most parents are finally on the same page. I have been wanting my teen (returned from college) in the house with no friends for weeks. He would not comply and many parents were allowing kids to have friends over. I even reached out to one of the moms asking her if we could both not allow visitors and she thought I was a loony. I will bet she feels differently now..but she is also a big Trump supporter, so she was probably only reading his twitter.
