Yeah, no thanks.

So you’d vote for Trump over Bloomberg??? That’s stupid.

What Bloomberg said about stop and frisk is way more racist than what Trump has said about a lot of people. Given the choice between two problematic billionaires a lot of Dems will stay home.

He is also far too anti 2A for my liking.

LOL at the tiny sodas!

Eh. AAs will vote 90% for the Dems and will vote for who the AA leaders tell them to.

That's why Bloomberg is bribing AA leaders left and right to get them to ignore the Aspen tapes. It's amazing to see all these people pretending it's no big deal when they went after Pete Buttigieg big time simply for the crime of firing the AA police chief in South Bend, while what Bloomberg did was far more racist. Every election brings out making pacts with the devil to win an election and it's funny to see the hypocrisies. Like the women's groups with Bill Clinton.

It appears you are either a Sanders or Trump voter as you castigated neither of them. I agree with the previous poster. You have no clue.

And it’s impossible to tell them apart online. Interesting, isn’t it?

I am neither a Trump nor Sanders supporter. Just someone who's realistic and not in denial about the strange relationship between progressive Democrats and their much more socially conservative AA voting bloc. It doesn't matter the enlightened liberal black Democrats in DC. It's the millions of more religious, more working class, more socially conservative black Democrats who will have issues voting for a gay man, especially a white gay man. It's the same reason the Republicans would have problems with a gay Republican candidate and their evangelical base.

Politics always brings out the hypocrisies in political alliances to make the coalition work. The progressive Democratic party is still reliant on millions of homophobic voters. That you have to resort to accusing me of being a Trump or Sanders underscores the denial and only proves my point.

Your point proves absolutely nothing. Some, not all, AA may have issues with being gay but not to the maniacal level of white evangelicals. Why? Because there is the underlying reminder of oppression and prejudice, no matter how small. Btw, my black church beloved choir director is gay.

AA support for gay rights generally lags about 10%+ points behind white Americans' support. The difference pretty much has to do with that AAs are disproportionately more religious and more working class. While there are plenty of white evangelicals, they aren't as large a demographics among whites as the religious blacks are among black voters.

To quote: "Meanwhile, three-quarters of Democrats support same-sex marriage, according to a Pew Research Center poll. African American support has jumped to 51 percent, up from 39 percent in 2015. But as a group, black voters still lag compared to the party that gets most of their votes."

Your anecdotal experience means nothing. Even Politico had a frank article about it. AA support for gay rights lags the larger American support by a decent amount. Let's not pretend there are plenty of Democratic voters who'd have real problems voting for a gay man.

Trump knows that Biden or Bloomberg could beat him.
He's not worried about facing a woman, because regrettably he is very talented at tapping into a dark undercurrent of misogyny that enjoys seeing him insult and belittle women.

I am not a fan of Bloomberg, never have been. But I admit to enjoying his takedowns of Spanky. You know Spanky hates him because Bloomberg is a real billionaire not a fake one. And that makes me happy.

Lol at Mini Mike.

Trump knows that Bloomberg will beat him. So he’s nervous.

This would be a fun election to watch. Bloomberg is completely unafraid of Trump unlike a lot of candidates (which I never understand). Bloomberg tries to bait Trump all the time, and I think Trump actually tries to ignore it but he couldn’t this time. Lol.
