What I’m mourning here is my break-up with the Democrats. I just put this together. Pete, Sanders, and almost Warren do not represent me- but I’m not rich enough for the GOP.
So yeah, I’m sad.
I’ll 100% stay home in November. It’s all a joke

That's the most asinine comment in this thread.

No one seems truly excited about Biden.

You need more than excitement. You need smarts, money (and lots of it), and someone who is clever and willing to stop being genteel when going up against a bully like Trump.

I've decided to give Bloomberg a long, hard look. I like the other candidates and Joe is my first choice but you don't bring a stick to a gun fight. When they go low, you go high? Not any more.

Good try troll. I know that there are trolls and bots trying to tear the country apart and One of the methods is to have so-called Democrats saying they will stay home and not vote to try to encourage other Democrats to do the same. That way ensuring that Trump will remain president.

We see you.

I’d like to know why this Russiabot doesn’t like Pete.

You all really ARE that dumb. If I have to hold my nose to vote- I’ll hold my nose & vote trump. The fact that you think that anyone who feels alienated by Dems is a Russian troll explains so much.

When you all think of ‘good presidents’ are you just thinking about ideas they have? One if the major things that held up obama was that he couldn’t get the 2 houses to work with him.
With no coalitions or cap hill experience how do you think Pete is going to convince Rs and demand Ds go along with his agenda? You can’t just ‘hope’ like Obama did. And sanders alienated everyone & has achieved very little because of it.

Because it’s not woke enough? Or because they don’t have one?

Interesting tidbit from 538:

Buttigieg won as many votes from (the admittedly few) Iowa AA's as Biden.

Most people in that demographic have better things to do then run for POTUS.

Anonymous wrote:The he’s electable meme is a narrative based on a fallacy. It’s not true guys.

Let me be very clear about this: I adore Joe Biden. I think Joe Biden is a truly gifted, special person. He’s a national treasure with a real talent for comforting and relating to people.

That said, he is way past his prime, and it’s showing. He’s not up to it, guys, and you know it. Anyone with eyes and ears can tell.

Maybe the bigger issue is, as an establishment guy with a very long—and controversial—political history, he will not inspire people to vote for him. A bunch of older poll respondents say they’ll vote for him. That’s great, but young people (black, white, whomever) will not come out for this guy. Yes, even young black people will not come out for him.

Young people come out for candidates that excite them. That is not Joe Biden.

I’m against all octogenarians being president, frankly. I’m most worried about Joe, though, because people are believing this false narrative that he’s the most electable.

Just look at history, and you'll see that democrats win with young, fresh candidates that excite the electorate.

By the way, Hillary Clinton was the most electable, too...

I don’t want exciting!

Please give serious thought to Pete Buttigieg. I adore him, and I admit my bias...but, I think he’s worth a serious look. Iowa shows that.

Same here, PP. Really excited for him. He's got a long road ahead, but if he can pull out the win I know he'd be an awesome president.

No, he’s still a kid.

He would be 39 on inauguration day. That's only 3 years younger than Teddy Roosevelt and 4 years younger than JFK. I'll take it.

Some people are more mature than others.
