And I highly doubt any student IB for Wilson chose Chavez initially but it is theoretically possible.

You certainly have a lot invested in MS athletics. Why is that?
Looking to see what talent will be coming thru to Wilson and etc.
By aggressively recruiting transfers for a couple of years, Wilson done well (although not as well as their talent level would have predicted). But that approach comes at a cost. That's why no seniors who came up through the program are still there. They are either playing at other schools or playing other sports.
Looking at the DMV 19/20 transfer list, I see that the trend has continued this year, with 3 kids transferring in and one previous transfer moving on.

This seems like a real shame for a public comprehensive high school.
The better question is how in the hell are ‘transfer’ students getting into a school that has no available seats for students on its wait list. Or is transfer a euphemism for buying or renting a home IB for the school?

One kid went from a private to Wilson and one kid went from a charter to Wilson. The kid that went from private could very well already be IB for Wilson (there are a lot of kids IB for Eaton, Hearst, and Shepherd that go to private vs. Wilson). I guess the same could be said for the kid that went to Chavez or they could have moved IB. Nonetheless, I doubt there is anything fishy going on being as though the Wilson coach was heavily investigated already last year. PP, I’d just assume the kids are IB and not assume the worst because the kids are black.
