I'm enjoying season 3 so far. I feel like Euphoria is kind of like they took Dynasty/Dallas and shot it into the mid-21st century and made it high school kids and drug dealers.

But does anyone else feel like Zendaya's acting is just not up to snuff? I feel like everyone around her is so believable, and she's doing this weird thing where she's cosplaying a drug-addicted 20ish man. Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney are great. I feel like Alea Demie steals every scene she's in, she's so good. The guy who plays Alamo is amazing. I don't know -- Zendaya's acting sticks out like a sore thumb to me at times in this show.

They took way too long to release it, four years to release a season is ridiculous. I thought the first season of this show was great because it was a realistic and modern take on issues within that age group. The show seems way off now and in fantasy land.

This show is really disturbing, but I have been sucked in by the storylines and the music choices are great.

Agree--gratuitous. Felt like voyeurism, as if the director of someone was getting off on filming sex scenes and pretending "this is real life for today's teens." Stopped watching after a while because there didn't seem to be much storytelling point to it all other than showing the sex and drug use.

Teens?

Zendaya is 25.

DP and I agree with PP. She may be 25 but most of the characters being portrayed are around 16. I watched some of season 1 to see what the buzz was about. It's just another show fetishizing teen sex and drugs. I don't really understand why adults enjoy watching teens behave badly so much, but there are plenty of shows and movies that indicate they do. Are there even any redeemable characters? I am simultaneously horrified and bored by shows like this where its just a bunch of stupid people making bad decision after bad decision. Nobody under 18 should be watching this.

My 12yo students are watching.

That’s crazy. 12 is SO YOUNG. My kids are 11, 13, & 14, and they were uncomfortable with the Sir Galahad scene in “Monty Python: Holy Grail” where they talk about the spankings.

Our society is so f’ed up to have this available to 12 year olds.

I just watched episode 5 of season 2. Zendaya was phenomenal. Wow. I had no idea that she was such a good actress. She was incredible in this episode.
