No way they had any updates on how long the renovation at LANGLEY would take.
Everyone who watched work sessions is imagining the invocation of One Fairfax as the reason for the boundary policy change.

There are few better examples of group think run amok than the hysteria among those convinced the School Board wants to redistrict them out of their significantly under-enrolled high school, which anyone with a functioning brain knows would not happen for at least another decade.
Should these people and their hand-picked candidates really be setting the agenda for the entire school system?
Too many of us have watched every meeting on school boundary policy. We know what the ultimate plan was and it was not simply to address capacity issues, or they would not have stopped boundary studies while they put a One Fairfax lens on the policy. They purposefully wasted thousands on trailers at McLean when Langley had space, because they had plans other than efficient use of taxpayer dollars and getting kids out of trailers. If it were all about capacity problems with obvious, inexpensive solutions would not have been ignored.

You don't think there are any Dems involved in "One Great Falls?" Seriously?
Maybe there are a few nominal Democrats, but none with Democratic values. The entire reason for Voices of Fairfax’s existence is to protect the interests of a single community in Dranesville: Langley parents who think their neighborhoods, unique among those in the county, should be permanently exempt from any future boundary studies. They could not care less about the rest of Dranesville or Fairfax County.
Of course, they’ll claim they are making a one-time decision to cross party lines, but they’d be right at home in a Trump rally, as would the slate of all-Republican candidates endorsed by VOF, including those endorsed by right-wing fanatic Sebastian Gorka.

See what happened in howard County, next door with their version of One Fairfax and you’ll understand why some moderate democrats are not happy with it.

The Dems don't normally invite the Republican opponents to their fundraisers.
