The player pool given how tiny it is compared to just about any other area club (where teams 1-2, and even 3 are similar) isn’t as deep. Location is a huge problem.
But, the coaching and training sessions are fantastic. To me- seriously the most important factor. No comparison.
But how the hell is a Nashville thread turning into a “bash Barca” thread yet again....sigh.

so perfect
I don’t get it. Are you insinuating that there is child abuse going on at Barca?

This couldn’t be further from the truth. Pretty much all the parents there are aware of what talent level their kids are. Many/most were B,C, D team kids who left their crappy club coaches for a better training environment.
Other parents and kids simply prefer the playing style over what other club options offer.
I think the anti Barca people on this thread are people who can’t quit separate a pro club a 6 hour flight away and a youth club where kids are just going to play soccer. We have people here who hate Barca the way people hate the Cowboys or Yankees and sadly equating some 10 and 11 year old kids with a Pro club that they hate.
It is just a soccer club.
Yes it is just a soccer club!
But it’s a club that aggressively uses its brand as a substitute for quality coaching and training, IMO.
No, you are attacking a club, kids and parents because you don’t like the Pro club. Pretty sad
No I am saying the club doesn’t deliver it promises. I said nothing bad about the kids, parents or the professional team itself.
If you are not at a club you have no idea what promises are made.
I know of no club that offers any promises. Again, put your dislike of a pro club in the proper context of a youth club.
You are mentally ill! I couldn’t care less about Barca or la liga.

The talent level is down a notch which makes these kids appear to have gotten better. When in actuality they're just the better group of a pool of lower level teams. Im not knocking Barca its simply another travel club rather than local branding. They are a franchise from a pro club. But not a jr academy as a pipeline to the big club. People have a choice to tryout at at any club if they make it they are placed at the appropriate level based on the talent pool at that club. I would hope if there were a diamond in the rough player that turns up at Barca. They would do the right thing and guide that player to the correct setting. I mean an ECNL or DA program to help that player develop into the best player they can become. As for the other 99.9% of players help them make the most out of their travel soccer experience.
Not ALL the kids. Some kids were at DA programs and left in favor of Barca. Those parents are as happy with the program as other levels. And that's an interesting put down to imply they only "appear to have gotten better".
There are better and worse teams. I have seen some amazing talent at Barca, and some not as talented.
Don't misunderstand me either. I'm not saying players should or shouldn't leave or join DA, Barca, or anything. But sometimes a DA or ECNL club has the benefit of a greater talent pool and isn't necessarily a good organization. Pages and pages of posts have been filled with criticisms of those programs too.
I totally agree with you. I would just hope Barca as well as any other travel club would do the right thing by any truly elite player they may come upon and direct them to the right program to help them become the best they can be. And I didn't mean it as a put down but when you have mostly B & C team players all together the best become that clubs A team. Where as that group of kids were B or C team level at their old club. Its not because the got better all of the sudden they just became the best available in that clubs player pool making them that clubs A team.

Do people think the quality of coaching is high at other is based “academies”?
"Do people think the quality of coaching is high at Barca Nashville?"
How the hell would we know?
There is a civil discussion here and then you.
