That she didn't do this--and gave so many blow-by-blow details of what happened--just seems weird/gratuitous.
Perhaps her mental health difficulties are severe and her judgment is poor during this time. If that's the case, I would hope her friends/family members would help to monitor her posting.
Maybe one of the medical providers was about to go public with Amy's attempted suicide. She was pro active in shutting down the story.

What? How would a provider tell her story?

It's immortal that she played at committing suicide. If she wanted to kill herself she should not have crawled down flights of stairs to get to her husband.

If she was a blogger who wrote about her struggles with cancer or a physical handicap, we'd hail her as a brave hero. If she shares a mental breakdown, she's vile and an attention whore.
If she was blogging about her cancer, I'd still have concerns about whether her child, identified with full facial video, is old enough to consent to having their 7th birthday party made part of a post about relapse.
Relapse of what? She's not an alcoholic.

Seriously. They need to have their license revoked for prescribing 90 days worth of Xanax. She obviously needs to be on an antidepressant to stabilize her mood.
This frustrated me as well. This is a highly addictive drug that is meant to be taken situationally. It’s not a daily medication. It should NEVER be prescribed in that large of a quantity. And we wonder why there is an addiction crisis in this country.
Talk to my prescription plan then. They require almost ALL meds to be dispensed in 90 day supplies because it is apparently cost saving for them. So I've been getting Lexapro in a 90 day supply for years. My mother's Xanax is the same. 90 day supply, as required by her insurer.
Lexapro isn’t in the same class as Xanax so not applicable to the statement above. Xanax shouldn’t be prescribed as a maintenance drug falling into the 90-day requirement. Your mother’s doctor is why we need tighter regulations around drug dispensing.

She's quite popular nationwide, and not posting anything would have eventually lead to another thread about what may have happened to Amy. I suppose she could have said she was taking leave to deal with personal stuff, but she does put it all out there.
Meh.
She could’ve just posted something simple like “I’m having some personal issues and appreciate everyone’s support. I will be back online when I feel it’s appropriate.” Instead she gave all the details, posted a picture of her kid, and basically wrote “luckily no big deal!”
Messed up.
Ugh sorry autocorrect. Fixed above.
And when bloggers don’t give details, they’re slammed for vague blogging. Let’s be honest: people love to criticize others anonymously on the internet.
And people who publicly put their lives out there – which is not the same as Facebook etc. – open themselves up to it. That is just a fact.

I read her blog, and I agree with this. I think she should have just said she needed some time. She shouldn't have put it out there but she's probably not in a good place right now. Perhaps she thinks it's therapeutic or that she owed it to her audience, but she's clearly off. I appreciate this thread but the people who don't read the blog and call her faker are way off about that.
I think there's a zero percent chance she reads DCUM.
