So many people promised to do that, yet they're still here.
Why?
I never promised to move to CA. But we are looking at moving to Europe - dual citizen.
Excellent. Are you giving up US citizenship?

Oh whatever. Dc native and brown latina here. I never feared any of that and voted trump but then again I hardly believed the hysteria of lib media during the election especially socialist univison.
no accounting for stupidity

So what? Did the author do a study on all american citizens not just white people? Its hilarious how lib media makes out white men to be the big bad wolf. Signed, latina.

I suspect it is the lack of morality in your worldview that makes you fearful of those who live by standards you cannot uphold. I get why you are scared. It doesn’t have to be this way. You too can find peace. But probably not as a liberal. Change can be scary. Embrace it.
OP is correct. Think about it, people.
I thought about the OP's comment on higher standards. And then I saw a vision of Donald Trump cheating on his pregnant wives. I thought about the comment about change. And I realized that conservatism is a philosophy based on fear of change to the social order. I thought about peace, and Jesus came to mind. He said we should take in the stranger and care for the poor and oppressed.
So I thought about it. But probably not the way you wanted me to.
Jesus said ''teach them to fish'' not to stuff them with freebies.
America takes those who are oppressed. Does not mean the country has to take everyone who think that they are oppressed or to open it's borders.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Another moral-touting conservative who thinks he/ she is living by the Bible but is actually being brainwashed by whoever is out there brainwashing you guys. I'm not a Republican but guess what, I'm a Christian and I know my Bible. I'm also pretty well educated about other religions and am not afraid of them. Jesus never, ever said to teach them to fish - go ahead, get your Bible and look it up by topic in the back. Find anything? Didn't think so. Now I'll give you that it's a pretty good saying but just not Biblical.
Do you know what really Jesus said about the hungry? He said to feed them. Period. No qualifications. Also he entered into relationships with them and didn't judge them from afar. Not exactly what I'm seeing from the Republicans...

You think the republicans on the hill give a sh*t about christians? They don't. They care about their tax cut b/c they are all rich. You are being used, but are too stupid to know that.
Right on. I think that no matter how facile they might b when you are always thinking of ways to deceive it cant help but effect their mental health. Eventually they cannot reason very well and their charade becomes all too obvious.
Is the above actually coming from liberals? You guys are the party of decades of poverty, millions of dead babies, slavery, and the Jim Crow south. And you were saying what, exactly about Republicans? It’s amazing how deluded you are. Must be the fear of independent thinkers running this country.

That's exactly what they're scared of - people who can think for themselves and aren't sheep, blindly following the liberal party line. While there are some aspects of the Democratic platform that I agree with, I could never vote for another Democrat again. They haven't just moved too far left - they've fallen off the cliff entirely.
PP here. This is what I'm talking about. You make no sense. The Dem and R party switched decades ago. Stop using that line. Dixiecrats are now republicans. I'm pro choice so your entire dead baby thing is crazy. Plus, I've always known many pro-choice republican women. I live in DC. Who's independent? We fundamentally believe different things about the way the country should run. I can accept that. I can't accept the stupid name calling about dead babies, etc.
Senator KKK Byrd remained a Dem
And Jack Kemp was a republican. He would have been kicked out of your party today. Byrd denounced his KKK roots. Anyway, the point remains.
And JFK would've been kicked out of yours.

Ummm.... that's not in the Bible. Not only did Jesus say we should give to the poor and take care of the refugee, when he sent his disciples out, he instructed them to live on the charity of the towns they visited.
Nothing worse than a conservative christian who doesn't even know his Bible.

But they project and gaslight so we have this pathetic thread....![]()
You seem angry that there is now a thread accusing liberals of the very same thing you've been accusing conservatives of: fear and anger.![]()
Why do you think I'm angry? I think it's funny in a sad, pathetic way. Can't even come up with an original thought, huh? Need to rely on projecting and gaslighting to attempt to make a point? Sad, pathetic little deplorables.![]()
