Fast forward 2 1/2 years and he’s run up so much debt he’s renting someone’s basement. The $85k I gave him to buy out his equity in the house (that was after tens of thousands of dollars in deductions for things he owed me, like back child support) apparently wasn’t enough to pay off his new debts. He’s a GS-14, go figure.

Karma is the way to go, not revenge.

That's a Midlife crisis gone too far! He sounds Bipolar.

Besides that nothing. Living well is the best revenge. He'll always know he's cheated and been a liar. I don't have to deal with that.

That seems like more of a punishment to you, given how uncomfortable that sounds, you dumb tramp!

Here's to looking stupid. Dick pick forwarding lady, I salute you!

Sometimes I'd rather look stupid than smug and condescending. But that's just me.

This idea that you are a "forgotton man" is freaking pathetic. You are living a life that many would dream of. Try stepping out of the NOVA bubble and into a place where people try to live on 20K.

All so Ivanka can have her inheritance tax free and giant corporations can pass cash on to their stockholders.

1) That's where I'm from and why I pursued education, so I wouldn't have to work 15 hours a day, 6 days a week on the farm.

2) When companies can repatriate their profits again we're going to have an economic boom and prosperity. Too bad Obama and the Dems didn't do it in 2010--Hilary would be president now.

hahahaha.... Oh my sweet summer child.

Your impulse to do the first thing says a lot about you and why he might have been inclined to cheat.

For the PP who pulled all the stupid crap listed (e.g., making sure her XH had trouble buying Christmas gifts for her kids): Every time you tried to hurt him you sent the message of just how hung up on him you still are.

Everyone but you can see it. Including your kids.

you don't know what you are talking about. I have a great relationship with my kids. They prefer me over their father. They wouldn't do that if he was a good guy. He deserves what he gets and don't try to shame me for sticking up for myself.

The worst thing about this psycho is that she actually believes that she did the right thing. All the energy she put into trying to screw over someone she still cares about so much is pitiful. The PP was not trying to shame you, they were stating what everyone else can plainly see: your anger has unhinged you and, yes, your kids (and everyone else inlcluding all the readers on this board) can see it.

Best revenge on crazy "progressives" -- seeing Trump elected.

Good for you. Did you get your coal mining job back?

Actually mining employment is up 70,000 since Trump was elected, and according to the Labor Department, mining will add 160,000 jobs over the next decade.

you should read the fine print before you proclaim things. employment in the mining sector is up, but mining jobs are down. growth in the sector will be up, but mining itself will lose jobs. the key is how this "report" defines mining sector - it's much, much broader than mining and actually includes jobs/employment in renewable energy - which is where the job growth will come from according to the Trump Labor Dept report.

Why can’t some new industry locate to those places - you know, something that doesn’t cause black lung?
textile manufacturing? Making bean boots or something?

Know someone who was so angry eX got house that she trashed it before turning it over to him.

Turned utilities off and let food in fridge and freezer rot

Opened windows and doors and enticed critters inside with food lying out so house had multiple critters inside when he arrived
