I agree with his sentiment, but I don't think he should have said it.
Nevertheless, he is not our country and he is not our flag. Those guys sitting or kneeling during the Anthem are protesting the wrong symbol. It is disrespectful for those who are fought and, especially, those who have given their lives for it. If they want to protest Trump, there are a lot of other things they can do.
They have the right to do it, but, the owners also have the right to fire them. This is on the owner's time.
