COuld easily be a crazy women plotting for seduction and money. Check her track record and her lawyer's track record of this blasphemy.

So is your Dh the flirty type to grab @$$ or say lewd comments to women? Then maybe he made some moves. The swab suggests his willy was out too, some maybe more than some moves.

The lawyer should be brought before the Bar for giving such bad advice. He might be a civil lawyer completely out of his depth. Or maybe he's a former prosecutor who exploits those connections to defend white-collar and other wealthy clients, and "just knows" his buddies won't railroad a fellow white guy who's "a good guy".

Regardless, it's utterly stupid to engage law enforcement and prosecutors without an attorney representing you. There's too much incentive to pin somebody with the crime, and so much to gain from a longstanding record of locking up bad guys.

Since they can't ALL be black or Latinos, there'll have to be a few whites. Don't make it easy to choose you.

I remember what happened to those students at Duke University. They didn't do anything to the stripper, but a money hungry crack-ho and a power hungry prosecutor who wanted to run for higher office conspired to railroad the students. The students were all kicked out of the university, the coach was fired, and their parents lost hundreds of thousands defending them. It took years to clear their names and they were only saved because some of their parents had money.

Nifong the prosecutor had railroaded other innocent people into jail including one man falsely convicted of murder. The stripper was later found guilty of murder, and Nifong the prosecutor was sent to jail and lost his law license.

I know an older man who slept with a woman he picked up at a bar while on a business trip. Actually, he and his colleagues all slept with her over the course of the trip (a handful of guys). Totally consensual, but she got pregnant. Everyone was swabbed. The man I knew turned out to be the father. Wrecked his marriage/family (already had a few kids). Happily married to the woman he and his colleagues slept with...and lives in dcumlandia.

It sounds like the oil rig monkeys hired a stripper for a party and things may have gotten a little out of hand. Maybe OP's husband grabbed some titty or something but one of his homes did the raping of the drunk stripper while the others cheered him on. Or maybe the rape happened in another room while hubby was passed out drunk. Or maybe the stripper made up the rape part just because she's a nut. I wouldn't give a DNA sample to police if I could avoid it because once you ate targeted they will try to make you guilty and if the DNA samples get confused they don't care about that. Also while in the ideal fantasy world spouse do sharing, in the real world OP is far better off being kept in the dark completely. Whether he's guilty or innocent there's absolutely nothing she could do to help and a lot she could do to make things worse. Besides sounds like he was hoping they wouldn't follow up with him and while that may be wishful thinking why involve the op if the wish came true? Even if his DNA is not a match if he was in the same room or house where an assault occurred he could be charged with accessory. Op obviously has some reason for mistrust beyond this incident which she doesn't disclose. This must have been the last straw whether or not he's guilty of anything.
