NP and I would bet that if she no longer drinks or smokes, she did plenty of both until at least her 30s. Agree with the PP who said her hair is a big part of the issue; a softer, darker color would really warm her up and cutting it a bit shorter would be flattering because she has a narrow face. I'm almost 40 and tend to be on the leaner side; the older I get, the worse I look when I get too scrawny and vascular. It was less of an issue when I was yonger, but I definitely notice it now. I think she probably has the same issue and would look better with just a bit more weight on her. I don't agree with her politically at all, but I would say she has the potential to be attractive with a few changes.

Athleisure is not just about whether the look is appropriate on the wearer or for the occasion. According to my nether region doctor, if you value the flora and fauna of your nether regions you should shower as soon as possible right after working out, change into dry clothing and not wear moisture wick fabrics all the live long day, if possible. She sees women who have discomfort, odor issues or need extra strength 7-day inserts because they wear althleisure way too often and their bodies do not react well to it over the long term.

Her hair is a major part of the problem. Both the color and the texture really age her. So frowzy. She would look better with a light to medium brown. Also, she should cut off quite a bit and go with looser, soft layers around her face, to add some width and deemphasize the length of her chin and nose. But most important, she should fnd a natural style that doesn't require her to fry the hell out of her hair with blow dryers and flat irons.

She also wears much too much heavy eye-makeup--also very aging. A lighter hand with eye makeup and powder would be an improvement.

Skinny and veiny doesn't = better or healthy. She has that rode hard and put away wet haggard look for 50. There are a bunch of women in my office and on my street between 50-60 who are far from millionaires, have had zero plastic surgery and they look 1,000,000 more beautiful and healthy regardless of political affiliation. Few wrinkles. Healthy hair. Bright smiles and they don't look like their soul has been sucked out by a Dementor.

As a fellow rider (and presumably, Southerner) I take your meaning, and I agree.
