Jim Neighbors. Near his home on Diamond head. I was running the hills while training for a marathon.

Sinbad! 4am at the Dallas airport. I was exhausted and traveling alone with my then 1 year old. My DH was deployed during Desert Storm. He bought me a muffin. So sweet!

Shep Smith. Many, many times. He has a condo in Oxford and goes to a lot of home games. I've been to several parties with him.

No one super big, but I'm easily impressed.

I love Tom Selleck and love watching Magnum! That was a fun show. Do you still have that house in Hawaii?

I slept with Tom Selleck in the 90's.

For real? He is so handsome.

Hmmm I have met briefly met a lot of famous people. Not the most famous, but my favorites: Boston Bruin's legend Bobby Orr (super down-to-earth, friendly guy), Benicio del Toro (so cool and fun to hang out with!), and Matt Damon (very appealing person).

Was she a bitch? She seems like one.

She was in my Junior League group. I was also friends with one of her roommates. She said she was nuts.

Robert Jarrett. Tattoo artist. He does great work. I recommend him.

1. Dennis Rodman (serious, somewhat intimidating, with full entourage and acting like a bit of a big shot - which he was at the time)
2. Tipper Gore (absolutely lovely)
3. Sinbad (incredibly nice guy as a pp said)
4. A bunch of soap opera stars - not famous to non-soap fans but I was a soap fan so it was exciting to me. I worked at a retail place close to the filming studio for All My Children and a couple of other shows. This was in the 1980's.
The most memorable of the soap stars was the actor who played Jackson Montgomery on All My Children. He came strutting in with 2 beautiful women, one on each arm, and expected everyone to recognize him! Only a couple of us recognized him. He really liked attention! So funny.

Ohh, I remember a few more:

I spent an entire weekend in Dustin Hoffman's UWS penthouse apartment without realizing it. I agreed to work on a student film, which was to be shot in my classmate's parent's apartment. I didn't realize that my classmate was the son of Dustin Hoffman. In between takes, I'm wandering around the house and we are shooting scenes in his parent's bedroom. It wasn't until I saw the Oscars on a shelf next to the bathroom that I realized where I was. I even answered the landline phone in the kitchen and chatted with the mother and Dustin while their son was directing the scene. I assured them that we had enough food for the small crew, haha

I ran into James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem in a coffee shop in Dublin, Ireland in fall of 2015. I was visiting for a friend's wedding and he was playing at a festival just a few miles down the road from my friend's wedding venue in the Irish countryside. Very nice guy....out of all my celebrity run-in's I will admit that I was super fan-boy when meeting James. A moment of weakness!

Michelle Obama (very warm and really interacted with everyone)
Laura Bush (lovely lady, this was during Bush's 2nd term)
John Kerry (this was in college when I volunteered @ his HQ in the area)
Idina Menzel (surprised me how tiny she is in real life)
Tim Gunn (very sweet, but our meeting was brief)
Lauren Graham (she's exactly like her Gilmore Girls character in real life and so down to Earth, big fan after meeting her)
Clinton Kelly (he was very snarky, but in a lovable way)
Keisha Knight Pulliam (not sure if that's spelled correctly, met her when she was teen & she was friends with my friend's sister)
Chris Martin (after meeting him, no clue how he stayed married to Gwyneth for as long as he did)
Rosie O'Donnell (liked her a lot before meeting her, not so much after... loud, loud, LOUD)

If she wasn't Rosie O'Donnell, and so annoying gin other ways, LOUD wouldn't bother me at all. New Yorkers are generally loud - but good people, as a whole. I don't hold the fact that they are who are against them.

Rosie is the worst. I've heard lots of awful stories about her but this one always gets me - my friend was a SUPER low level PA/intern on her show back in the day. One of my friend's jobs was to literally hand Rosie stuff to sign. Rosie never acknowledged her, never said hello or even looked at her even though she did this every day for months. Total bitch.

Me too and she was not nice at all. She laughed at me and said I needed to work out more, I hate a 2 month old at the time. She was a friend of my good friend, we all went to dinner somewhere. My sister was with us, she agreed that she sucked.
