If Sessions goes back on anything he said in his confirmation hearing, can we go after him for perjury?

Cory Booker is a total phony. He has lost my support for sure if he ever decides to run for president.

Booker partnered with Sessions last year on civil rights and this is what he said at the time - he is now going to testify against Sessions:

But less than a year ago, Booker was sharing "one of my life's greatest moments" with Sessions, speaking at a ceremony awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to the "foot soldiers" who had participated in the 1965 civil rights march from Selma to Montgomery, Ala.

Booker coauthored the legislation granting the award with Sessions.

"I am humbled to be able to participate here and pay tribute to some of the extraordinary Americans whose footsteps paved the way for me and my generation. Time after time, the democrats on that committee sat silent as Obama violated the law repeatedly over the past 8 years.

They have no basis now to suddenly speak out against the nomination of Senator Sessions.

Which is why I'm disappointed with Booker. He's obviously a very smart guy with impeccable credentials. It takes a brilliant person to navigate the human relations to get from Newark to the Ivy League to a Rhodes scholarship and eventually the U.S. Senate. That person needs the uncanny knack of keeping his ear to the prevailing winds and understanding the electorate.

It seems he's lost that ability. If anything, I'm worried that his grandstanding will backfire in a big way. Let John Lewis take his final curtain call....this may be his biggest moment.

There is something truly slimy and weird about Booker. He just comes across as so pandering and inauthentic. Obama oozes charm, smarts, charisma, and stern optimism. Booker is the opposite.
