I chose to marry late (40s) and began having sex in high school. I'm attractive and enjoy men and sex. So, over 20+ years I had a lot of both. There was some heartache, but for the most part, I had a blast. I would not change a thing. Like 20:55 said, it was fun.

NP. Disagree. I actually think that a self-confident, self-assured beautiful woman don't sleep around. At least within AA circles. I am one of them, and have a flock of beautiful girlfriends, 3 of which were virgins who married and have only been with one. I recognize this is rare. But I also don't think that sleeping around = damaged goods. It's a very personal choice that some people do for different reasons. If there is damage in a woman that hasn't been repaired, it is usually there before the high count of partners...

I think that this is an over generalization. I am an attractive AA woman. I was very self-assured and fit in college when I racked up a large number of sexual partners. Many of my friends, who are AA, did the same. We were having fun. Nothing more, nothing less. My sexual adventures were not at all tied to my self worth or a need.

39, 53 years old and went nuts after divorce (was a virgin on my wedding day). Current DH has high sex drive and when I told him the number when we started dating (I volunteered it), for whatever reason it turned him on and 25 years later he tells me it has the same effect. Who knows why.
