You can read this thread because it is about the only episodes that aired.

The VP debate is why it did not air on Oct 4th.

I'm wondering why next week's episode says "Episode 4" - was there ever an episode 3?

Ken Olin who was an actor on Thirtysomething is the director.

I'm enjoying this show too, hopefully it keeps it's momentum and doesn't fizzle out. Wondering if Kevin WILL move to NY! What will happen with Kate I LA alone then. Looking forward to the next episode. I heard they already picked the show up for the entire season. It's changed it's time though, 9pm ET, instead of 10pm ET.

I watched both episodes last night. I liked it. For those wondering about the current year, it's probably 2016. Toby (Kate's boyfriend) mentioned Deadpool and Hamilton.

Yes, the VP debate bumped it. And then, of course, it won't be on Nov. 8.

I'm the OP and surprised to see there are now 11 pages of comments with only two episodes. I liked Timeless, which premiered this week, too.

I'm wondering if Frequency, on my DVR from last night, will be a sci fi analog since it has a father-daughter communicating across 20 years with some sort of radio.

Nope, we've all only seen those first two episodes.

Did anyone else take a while to figure what was going on? I felt like a total idiot at the beginning of the second episode when I was thinking "wait why did they just have a scene where the babies were 8 years old, and then one minute later they said the crackhead dad only moved in three days ago?" And that little boy has the same name as the guy in the big office at the beginning.... OH DUH.

I also noticed when the drunk actor brother fell asleep on the couch there was a framed picture of the three of them right behind his head (before we knew the relationship).

One more thing ... even 30 years ago were you allowed to adopt a baby right out of the hospital? Just basically grab it and go?

I thought about this too. The babies were premature, so they wouldn't have gone home right away. And if Randall was born of an addict, he might have had a hospital stay.

Of course, it is TV, so the babies were all big and robust and straight to the nursery, so this completely kills my theory.

I'm one who posted about being 36 and challenger being off, and like I said, I don't care but they got it wrong, OR they might reveal the character got it wrong. who knows, who cares but it's obvious they were supposed to be born I 1980 because of that news coverage of Iran in the hospital.

AGAIN I think it's immaterial and the show is still good.

I love Milo! he is sex on a stick for me and he's not even close to my type. I love his name too but DH vetoed that for our boy

Hey, you young whippersnapper, the Iran hostage crisis began in 1979.

And as I posted somewhere up thread, I read some articles around when the show premiered, and the producers were saying the siblings were born in 1979.

I know! I was born in 80 but I'd hope that everyone still knew that, who knows, I bet many of my friends don't even know own that. Sad. anyway, yes but I assumed 80 b Iran situation started in November so it's just the tail end of 1979, but yep that would buy them an extra almost year in the timeline.

Yeah, but they might not have known what was going on bc they were kids. I could see the alcoholism getting revisited. There's an element of reality and the portrayal of reality not quite matching up - take the cheesy triplet cheer, for example-- their birth story was absolutely nothing like that cheer. Seems like Dad could've been a lot of fun when he was around but possibly not around all that much bc he was drunk. Will be interesting to see where they go w his character.
