You all do know that the DC Council has been forcing new construction -whether residential or city owned, like libraries, to be limited or parking free ? This is part of the imposed greening of the city to drive us all to public transport, which they've failed to maintain as safe or appealing. These parking wars are the future. Expect more, courtesy of your local green lobby.

The guy ruined his own life. It probably wasn't the actual crime that got him in trouble at work.
If he didn't report it right away, then his security clearance is questioned. It's an integrity issue.

Harassment is not a criminal offense. Stalking is, and Whitman's actions seem to fit the statutory definition. But then there's the practical realities. Diversion and expungement was the most likely result. I'm curious how this got picked up by the Post.
