Someone earlier mentioned the rape scene in The Accused - yes!! That one haunts me. "Want to play some pinball?" Ugh .

LOVED Shawshank Redemption. My favorite scene is when Andy plays "The Flower Duet" for the prisoners. Seeing their reactions to hearing something beautiful (many probably for the first time) was so poignant.

The scene in Home Alone when Kevin escapes into the church and gets to know his old neighbor. The choir's "oh holy night" is so beautiful and I grew up in that area, and just seeing scenes of the town at Christmas takes me back.

I've seen this movie so many times with my kids and that scene never fails to make me tear up. The music is so beautiful and the old man is so touching and sad.

YES. Saw this before I or anyone even knew who Jennifer Lawrence was and was blown away by her acting. When she had to reach into the water to feel her father's hand - OMG.

In the Lion King when Simba cries over his dead father after the stampede. Makes me cry every single time.

I also like the scene in The Bridges of Madison County when the housewife sees her AP at the red light and almost flees her husband's truck!

Yes to both above, plus when the hunky British soldier in red coat sacrifices himself for the girl. Reminds me of Tale of Two Cities- Sydney Carton.

Also in Mohicans, all the men (except for the British guy) have such dark, long long hair. * Sigh*. It's should have been called, "the great-hair movie".

No you missed it. The queen only agreed to it after her uncle agreed to be responsible if Ree did the wrong thing with the info.

That film was nearly flawless.
