The point I was making is about violence in holy books influencing religion-based violence today.

If you don't like what the bible has to say, feel free to find a different religion. Please spare us the lies about it all being rainbows and lollipops. It's violent, yet millions upon millions of Christians see the mission of helping others as their task in life. They manage to go about it without shooting or suicide bombing. Why? Because anyone who isn't heavily brainwashed can see killing a woman's children because she disobeyed is an immoral thing to do. As the centuries roll on, our morality is evolving. The holy books are barbaric and antiquated.
