POISON? Are you seriously talking about poisoning dogs because they go to the bathroom someplace where you'd rather they not?

OP - if you are someone who avoids confrontation, then try to get your dog to avoid that yard. If you're not, then your pearl-clutching prude of a neighbor can just live with the horror, the horror, of existing in the same space as dogs.


The SAME SPACE THAT IS ACTUALLY HER YARD!!! Why don't you get this? She doesn't want a dog in her yard! I get that dog owners don't care, and that most neighbors don't care, but thinking that's there is something insane about someone who doesn't want other people's leashed pets shitting on their property is what seems totally crazy to me. Respect the woman's request and have the dog poop elsewhere.

The dog appears to be leashed and walking on a public sidewalk. The neighbor is pissed because the dog sometimes does it's business on the wrong side of the sidewalk.

No one is talking about allowing their dog to go off leash and wander around on someone else's property.

Because dogs go on the grass to smell and on the grass on the front and on the side of the sidewalk. If they don't go when or where they need to they start to have runny stools and then you will have a bigger better surprise on your yard!
