In their first special "14 children and pregnant again" they did. Explained how they do it. It was editted out in later showings because of outrage and TLC likely sanitized any later mentions.

Not "beating" per se but one of the children says that Jim Bob and Michelle spank all the children with a rod on page 29 of the police report.
