I would have so many more. I'd be awash in noisy children.

Do over? In a heartbeat.

Maybe it i had to do it over, I would have worked harder at my career, before marriage, made more money, and be comfortable having even more kids (college & kids cost a bundle these days).

But I'm grateful for all I have.

I'd have stayed on my farm period and done some travelling.

Exhausting, anyone would find six children exhausting! Less is more.

However, I imagine in the years to come, my opinion will change. Parenting gets easier and more rewarding the older they get. (I have twin 5 year old kindergartners) I enjoy it so much more now than I did even a year ago.

Hey I am you a few years into the future. You are at one of the hardest times. They are all at very different stages but you will start to,have a little, more time fothem individually and that will help. And those last six years with the youngest younwill treasure. It will get better!

I'm not sure I love them but part of me feel like the answer is no. Kids are a lot of work, plus having no family around to help, it can be overwhelming at times. I don't blame people who don't want kids cause parenthood is no easy task.

Yes, but I would ban the ILs or relocate to a place where they could never visit.

Yes, and I would start much earlier.

I should probably add that I LOVE my children and my life. I cherish our family time. With that said, I look forward to being an empty nester! (Kids are 18, 14, 11 & 5).

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHHH YOU'LL BE DEAD BEFORE YOU'LL BE AN EMPTY NESTER WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF

This poster probably started younger and had the youngest DC at a normal age. Just a guess.

Not my experience, but I have boys. I'm shocked they survived their early years. Now they are so much fun. 12, 14, 15. However, they are damn expensive now!!!

Yeah, that's hilarious. "More easier and rewarding" would not be the description I would give to having 2 teens and a tween. And I have good kids! But easier than little kids? maybe in the sense that everyone showers and dresses themselves.
