It broke your heart when Chandler was kicked out of Mrs. Simpson's and he followed that up by giving up lacrosse for ultimate frisbee. You're currently attempting to win him back from the dark side with an offer of a tour of the continent but he started dating a girl named Rain and they want to join the Peace Corps. As for Sutton, she survived her time at Holton with everyone asking if she was named for the grocery store. But clearly, the gourmet food references have had their impact, and she's currently doing time at Canyon Ranch.

You always envied the preppy girls in your freshman dorm. Moved here post-grad and are determined to create for your DC the idyllic childhoods that Muffy, Bitsy, and Dede must have enjoyed. You'll color your hair in the bathroom for the next decade to afford to send her to a Big 10.

You bristle when anyone tries to guess the background of your DC's names. How dare they be so racist/classist/ethnocentric? Your cold glare is enough to shut them up. Silence is power. You'll research it for yourself one of these days. Seeing them browsing through People while still in an after-birth medicated stupor seemed like such a good idea at the time. Sigh.

first part is true.

though if uma looked like uma thurman the rest of your assumptions would be spot on probably. both have names fitting of their heritage.

Emma and Alex.

Emma was one of the first trickling pebbles in the Emma Avalanche of the late 90's. I never considered us to be trendsetters, but there you have it.

Alex was because DW and I couldn't agree on a name we both really liked. My choices were just too awesome for her, and her names sucked . To this day I wish I'd told the nurse my choices while she was zonked out post-labor.

Marcus was born sporting a unibrow and will try hard to grow into it. Tatiana's thick ankles and large calves would have canceled out the delicate beauty of her name for anyone but her future husband, who thought he was getting a mail order bride. Don't ever let on she was born and raised in NJ, PP, or the spell will be broken. Mum's the word.

Well someone is a Shakespeare fan here. Who's next, Imogen or Iago?
